Grab a toboggan, tube or trash can lid. It’s sledding season.
Few cities are as well-suited for the winter pastime as Pittsburgh. Wherever you are, you’re probably close to a good hill. Here’s a few of the best:
• Dormont Park: This South Hills staple near the pool has a couple of hills that vary from safe to steep.
• Flagstaff Hill: Climbing Schenley Park’s famed rise isn’t a blast, but the ride down sure is.
• Boyce Park: No other area location makes its own snow like this tube park does.
