My third child, Brady, is an exceptional artist who operates from a different part of the brain than me.
Brady started winning art contests in seventh grade. No matter the medium – whether drawing or painting – Brady’s artistic awesomeness rivals the great masters and covers the walls of our home with pure joy.
Our summer to-do list includes visiting atelier art programs (art specialty schools where students study under a master) in various locales from Los Angeles and New York to Italy and Canada.
Brady’s a gift who has stretched my analytical, boisterous self to better understand – and really appreciate – creativity.
