Pittsburgh Polyphony: Sierra Sellers brings ‘Shine’ to local music scene

When you see her live, there may be only one thing more noticeable than Sewickley native Sierra Sellers’ signature blonde curls – the energy she brings to the room.

In the studio, the melange of jazz, neo soul and R&B she’s known for around the ‘Burgh is brought to life through laid back and chilled out records like “Shine,” a collaboration with fellow Pittsburgh rapper My Favorite Color which recently landed her on Spotify’s Libra playlist, exposing her to thousands of new listeners.
