Troy Hill’s St. Anthony Chapel disguises the glory contained inside with a bland facade, but enter its doors and your gaze is stolen by the life-size wooden carvings of the Stations of the Cross.

Proceed to the front of the church to get close up with the glimmering ornaments that house the relics, of which there are over 5,000, making it the highest number of relics anywhere in the world outside of the Vatican.

Learn more about this 139-year-old chapel and why people used to flock to the top of the hill to meet its priest at the chapel’s museum.
