As a toddler mom, I’ve been researching secure attachment, a significant factor in current and future well-being. I’ve found that a secure attachment to at least one parent/caregiver means you know someone is consistently there to provide support and love. With that feeling internalized, you can go out into the world and trust you have what it takes to pursue goals. Essentially, you believe the world is a good place and you are capable.
Then I thought, what if we, as adults, helped each other believe in the good? Imagine what a great (and securely attached) world that would be.
