Ambient atmospheres and infectious melodies lay the groundwork of each record from alt-R&B artist and Pittsburgh native Raindrop Relly, who has continued to hone his craft since the release of his debut album, “Parked Outside,” in 2019. Meshing sounds from several genres and moods, the nine-track record hits on notes ranging from contemporary rap and R&B to vintage ’70s synths and rhythm guitars.
Now, Relly is arriving back on the scene after a brief reprieve, with his sophomore effort “Love on Highland” set to release Nov. 21. You can listen to “Parked Outside” and watch out for “Love on Highland” on Spotify.
