Jeet jet? We all scream in the great ice cream debate

ice cream debate

The question posed to The Pittsburgh 100 staff: best ice cream in the city? Next: pandemonium (or a lively Slack conversation).

The Strip District’s Klavon’s and South Hills staple Scoops got the first shoutouts. Hard to argue with those traditional shops. Nor can you say no to Page Dairy Mart – the old-school spot at Becks Run Road and East Carson Street with those huge summer lines.

Those who prefer trendy treats went for Lawrenceville’s NatuRoll, which rolls the cream on an ice pan, adding in fresh and unique ingredients.

And then there’s the correct answer (from yours truly): Millie’s.
