New Pittsburgh museum shoots for the moon

by The 100 Companies

The Moonshot Museum, which opened in October 2022 at the headquarters of Pittsburgh’s Astrobotic Technology, is one of the only museums in the U.S. that lets visitors observe the construction of spacecraft by industry professionals from mere feet away.

Want to help solve mechanical issues or mediate interpersonal conflict among lunar inhabitants? Interactive exhibits let patrons partake in real space experiences, including finding a lunar base site, surviving on the moon and weighing in on the complications of many countries co-existing in space.

Open Wednesday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., admission is $10 for adults and $5 for kids.
