Downtown’s Market Square Comes Alive for the Holidays

Over six years, the Peoples Gas Holiday Market has grown into one of the most popular Christmas traditions in downtown Pittsburgh. This year, the Holiday Market opened in magnificent fashion on November 17, with the Comcast Light Up Night celebration.

The market is open until December 23. It’s the place to truly experience the holiday spirit. Vendors sell goods at traditional German-style kiosks, while performers will take the stage to entertain crowds nearly every day.

Don’t forget, the big man in red will be listening to the Christmas wishes of children in the middle of the market as well!
