Spring has arrived along with the return of area farmers markets. To kick off the season, the Local Food Conference will be held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center April 14-15, highlighting Pittsburghers’ love of buying local, farm fresh produce and other goods.
The event features a sprawling exhibit hall representing over 150 vendors from farms and restaurants, along with interactive exhibits, cooking demos and food samples.
On Sunday, organizers will host a morning brunch and a Farm to Flask Tasting event, with tickets starting at $20. If you want to buy local, too, check out this guide.
