Run to end hunger on Thanksgiving Day

by
YMCA Turkey Trot

The 28th Annual YMCA Turkey Trot is fast approaching on Nov. 22. Presented by UnitedHealthcare, the Turkey Trot is more than a race – last year, the event collected 7,000 pounds of food and raised over $240,000 for local food programs. To reach this year’s goal of 10,000 pounds, the YMCA is calling for a community effort.

The YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh is partnering with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank to ensure food is distributed far and wide to reach as many of those in need as possible. MedExpress is also collecting non-perishable food items at its locations.
