Celebrate all things Ireland at the Pittsburgh Irish Festival. The annual event, which runs Sept. 7-9 at the Riverplex at Sandcastle, seeks to foster cultural awareness of the Gaelic tradition in the Steel City.
Marking the halfway point to St. Patrick’s Day, the festival will feature live music, axe throwing, authentic cuisine, craft beers, art demonstrations, a children’s area and more.
Marking its 28th year, the festival is expected to draw more than 25,000 visitors throughout the weekend. Tickets are $15 at the gate and no cost for children under 12. Discounts are available for students and seniors.
