If you love the sweet sound of bagpipes, girls dancing on swords, impressive displays of athleticism, Scottish dancing and dogs, the Ligonier Highland Games is the place for you.
The event, hosted at historic Idlewild Park & SoakZone, is celebrating its 60th year with an extra day of festivities. On Sept. 22 and 23, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of Scottish culture, including its music, food, history, dance and more.
Tickets for adults are $18 on Saturday and $8 on Sunday, while weekend passes are available for $25. Discounts are available for seniors and children, too.
