Going green in your office

by
Green offices

A new report on global warming reminded governments about the time-sensitive need to rein in rising temperatures. A sustainable environment depends on world leaders to work together for solutions, but we can do our part from inside our offices.

• Go paperless: It sounds crazy (and probably isn’t completely doable), but remember not everything needs to be printed.

• Use ENERGY STAR-certified equipment: Energy-efficient computers and even servers are easy to find. “Green” HVAC systems significantly help, too.

• Reuse and recycle: Use washable mugs, plates and silverware in the kitchen, and place recycling bins where everyone can see them.
