When Congress passed the tax bill in December, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that total charitable giving could decrease as much as $20 billion a year in the U.S. and as much as $60 million in the Pittsburgh region.
Few Pittsburghers know that one of the most anticipated parties of the year is a nonprofit fundraiser that supports the educational programs and services of the Heinz History Center.
On Feb. 16, Heinz History Center will host a History Uncorked: Roaring ’20s event, inspired by its upcoming exhibition, “American Spirits: The Rise and Fall of Prohibition,” opening on Feb. 10.
