Shhh … It’s head lice season

It’s the topic no one wants to talk about, yet it happens – often: head lice.

With back-to-school season in full swing, here are four things all parents must know:

1. Lice are attracted to clean hair, so don’t be embarrassed if you spot them on your child.

2. Lice can’t live off a human for more than 48 hours.

3. Store-bought kits work, but they are pesticides, so understand the risks.
