Pittsburgh roast: Commonplace Coffee Company

Commonplace Coffee

Commonplace Coffee Company has become something of a staple in western Pennsylvania. They have opened eight locations since 2003, when they first started roasting their own coffee. And their popularity just keeps growing.

The Mexican War Streets location has become a North Side community gathering spot since it opened two years ago. It’s the perfect place to refuel while strolling the neighborhood or after visiting nearby museums.

The shop’s mix of brick walls, wooden tables and bar seating creates the perfect setting to make some headway on a big project or to take a load off, with latte in hand.
