The Strip District is home to many pieces of Pittsburgh’s rich history: Wholey’s, the original Primanti Brothers, the mills that lined the river – the list goes on, and we’ve come to cherish everything about it. All of the history packed in 22 short blocks is part of what makes it special.
Recently, the Strip has seen many changes, and more are in store for the future, including an $80 million office and retail development.
Modernization is great, but let’s not forget what makes the Strip special – the aura of thriving commerce, culture and community you feel every time you visit.
