A painting of Mr. Rogers Bar

How do you top the success of the popular Pittsburgh holiday tradition, pop-up bar Miracle on Market?

Why not a food and drink experience honoring Pittsburgh’s public television pioneer, the late Fred Rogers? Mr. Rogers Bar opens this month downtown at 245 Seventh Ave. The masterminds behind it: Miracle on Market’s Carrie Clayton and Spencer Warren, of Subversive Cocktails and Penn Avenue Fish Company.

Besides the bar, the founders promise the Penn Cove Eatery lunch counter and a retail wine shop, plus a mix of traditional and new decor. As for cardigans and sneakers, it’s strictly bring your own.
