Landlord Tenant Project Supports Pittsburghers Facing Housing Disputes

by

Thirty-six local attorneys are shining a light on the affordable housing crisis in Pittsburgh with the development of the Landlord Tenant Project. Formed in 2013, the project provides advice and legal counsel to low-income individuals facing landlord disputes and other housing issues. The partnership consists of attorneys from Arconic, Alcoa and Meyer, Unkovic & Scott.

One of the project’s signature services is a legal hotline that provides advice to tenants as housing challenges arise. Since its inception, more than 1,000 residents from many different parts of Allegheny County have acquired legal advice through the Landlord Tenant Project hotline.
