March is historically associated with green, but if you’re tired of the green that comes with leprechauns, check out the Wild & Scenic Film Festival — the nation’s premier environmental and adventure film event.
The festival visits Pittsburgh March 8 on a nationwide tour. The Pennsylvania Resources Council and Allegheny CleanWays host the evening of short films showcasing breathtaking ecosystems and powerful stories of individuals and communities defending the environment. Click here to find films screened at previous festivals. The festival is at Chatham University’s Eddy Theatre. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.; the program begins at 6:30 p.m.
