A few tips, from intern to intern

As a college student, there is one cardinal rule that is drilled in your head from the start of your first class: do internships. You may think, “Why? Isn’t my education enough?” The fact of the matter is, there is no better teacher than industry experience.

Here are three tips for a successful internship:

1. Have an open mind: You might surprise yourself by having a positive attitude.

2.  Step out of your comfort zone: Try something new every day. It’s about learning.

3.  Have FUN: Work and play don’t have to be exclusive. Be yourself and always bring enthusiasm to the table.
