As America grays, agencies and insurers must work together

According to the U.S. Census, our nation is older than ever before. As our population grays, Americans may become unable to fully care for themselves, relying on long-term services and supports (LTSS) options such as Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) or Centers for Independent Living (CIL).

It’s essential that insurers compensate providers in a timely manner, so they can deliver care to those who need it most. At Pennsylvania Health & Wellness, our goal is to pay our providers within 10 days. It’s integral for the health care system to work together to take care of this vulnerable population.
