Inspiration for parents of children with autism

autism inspiration

Parents of children on the autism spectrum face unique challenges, but they are not insurmountable. Many empowering stories are chronicled in “It’s Going to Be AUlright,” an anthology from 12 mothers of children with spectrum diagnoses. The book is out April 2, which is World Autism Awareness Day.

“We want our readers to feel inspired and not fear the diagnosis of their child,” contributor Holly Teegarden said. “We hope after reading the book, they feel less alone in their journey.”

There is also a launch party from 6 to 9 p.m. on April 27 at the Waterfront Barnes & Noble.
