Pittsburgh tops a lot of fancy lists these days, from Amazon HQ2 finalist, to best places to live, visit, etc.
One list we hate is a pesky weather ranking. The “official” weather ranking says Pittsburgh has the fewest sunny days (only 59 days on average), lumping us with soggy metropolises including Seattle, Buffalo and Portland.
Local journalists have refuted the gloomy rankings. Rather than wade into the debate, I’ll simply point out that the optimists and those who see clouds everywhere agree summer is Pittsburgh’s sunniest season. That’s a great reason to celebrate with the great events in this issue.
