As we increasingly spend time with our noses buried in Facebook, Instagram, Reddit or the latest iPhone game craze, we’re missing the most important moments of our lives.
That’s why unPLUG Pittsburgh will be hosting Pittsburgh’s National Day of Unplugging, March 9-10, to encourage “Yinzers” across the city to put their phones to rest in small sleeping bags and partake in a day of digital detoxing.
For those who take the pledge, local gyms and businesses will be offering incentives to encourage participants to put down their phones. To get the full event details, visit the unPLUG Pittsburgh website.
