Kalie Frisky is from Linesville, one of those tiny towns in Pennsylvania some kids can’t wait to leave when they grow up. After a move to California, though, she started to feel like she was missing out on the story at home.
She moved back east to Pittsburgh and set her eye on looking for obscure beauty in the stories of abandoned America that most ignore. As a film photographer, Frisky gives others a peak into the endlessly interesting, rundown rurality of rust belt towns.
See what Kalie sees on her website, and check out “Dippy,” her most recent zine.
