Pittsburgh Polar Plunge

Ready to take the Plunge? The annual event for crazy people… er, those willing to brave a dip in the freezing cold Ohio River water comes a year after 1,200 plungers (plus some dry donors) raised $460,000 for Special Olympics Pennsylvania. $20 is due to register now, with a minimum $50 donation required before the plunge. Registration begins at 9 a.m. at Heinz Field, with the opening ceremony at 11 a.m. and plunging commencing at 11:30 a.m.
