Graduating college and entering the workforce is always a tough change, but this year especially so. With COVID-19 turning the world and workforce upside down this past year, the typical route for new grads may not be foolproof. In response, we’ve gathered some tips to help ease the transition.
First, be open to contracted positions or short-term work — this will still help build your resume while looking for something more permanent. You might already be a pro, but practice networking and interviewing virtually. Next, use this unique experience as an example of a challenge you’ve overcome. Most importantly, be patient.
