Fall events you won’t want to miss near Pittsburgh

Get outside to enjoy the cooler temperatures and fun fall activities just 30 minutes outside the city.

Gearhard Farms: This family farm in Murrysville hosts corn mazes for all ages. Search for 20 clues and five hidden animal pictures as you journey through the maze and discover a hidden aerial message when you finish. Visitors can also enjoy hayrides and a pumpkin patch.

Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium Jack O’Lantern Extravaganza: Pumpkins become masterful works of art at this evening fall display. This family-friendly event runs nightly Oct. 3 – Nov. 3. There will be activities for children, gently spooky displays and seasonal foods.
