The country’s first Black beer festival, Barrel and Flow, showcases Black brewers in addition to artists and entrepreneurs on Aug. 10. The festival strives to “connect opportunity, accessibility and artistry” in the Black community. Peruse the crafts market, dance to the DJs’ beats and apply for an “art + biz” scholarship.
The Robindale Great American Banana Split Celebration kicks off Aug. 24-25 in Latrobe. There will be candy bar bingo, face painting and goat yoga galore. Additionally, there will be a rock climbing wall to burn off the sweets and a “21+ area” to grab a drink. Click to learn more.
