The City of Bridges refresher course

Ah Pittsburghers – we love our nicknames, but many we take for granted until something bad happens. Exhibit A: the Fern Hollow Bridge collapse.

Thankfully, that wasn’t as bad as it could have been. It did resurface a Pittsburgh nickname, “City of Bridges.” News flash: New York City, London and even Bruges, Belgium, claim to be the City of Bridges. I disagree.
