Pittsburgh’s bar scene welcomes pop-up Zombie Den

by

This Halloween season Downtown Pittsburgh welcomes Zombie Den: Bar of the Living Dead, a unique pop-up bar that marks the 50th anniversary of George A. Romero’s “Night of the Living Dead” and the zombie pop culture it inspired.

To create Zombie Den, ScareHouse teamed up with the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership and The Original Oyster House, as well as restaurant experts Michael McCoy and Brian Laing.

The bar will open Oct. 3 in The Original Oyster House in Market Square. Patrons can take part in the apocalyptic experience from 4 p.m. to midnight Wednesdays through Sundays until Nov. 3.
