One enduring film set in Pittsburgh (Punxsutawney, really) is Groundhog Day. In the film (if you’ve somehow never seen it), weatherman Phil Connors – played by Bill Murray – seems condemned to live the “holiday” over and over again.
Does it feel like that for you with whatever we’re calling COVID right now (pandemic/endemic/Delta/Omicron)? It sure does for me!
Here’s to hoping 2022 doesn’t have all of us in Pittsburgh feeling like we are repeating 2020 and 2021 over again. Or as a meme I saw put it, 2020 … plus 2.
