A Halloween Tradition in the South Side

Jekyl and Hyde mural

Pittsburghers know how to celebrate Halloween. From Kennywood’s Phantom Fright Nights to the numerous haunted house exhibits throughout the region, this is the perfect time of year for residents who love a good scare. The Jekyl & Hyde bar in Pittsburgh’s South Side neighborhood takes things to another level. This neighborhood dive, dedicated to all things Halloween, is open year-round – and all year, they only celebrate one holiday.

Head to this off-Carson Street spot for a cocktail, a beer, or to sing karaoke. But most of all, head there for a good scare. Needless to say, costumes are welcome!
