Each year, 700 people experiencing or at risk of homelessness are killed from hypothermia in the U.S. Pittsburgh winters are some of the harshest in the nation, with an average low temperature of 21 degrees in January. For men, women and children in need of warm shelter or resources, Light of Life Rescue Mission can help.

The Mission is open 365 days each year and provides shelter to approximately 125-155 people nightly. In addition, we offer meals, winter accessories and case management to people experiencing homelessness.
