James McKoy’s life-threatening illness hasn’t stemmed his imagination.

Jason McKoy was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma in November 2018. Chemotherapy left him with chronic fatigue, and he was unable to keep working – but bills don’t stop for cancer.

Uncomfortable crowdfunding and with a need for a creative outlet, Jason decided to start Stage4 Raiments. It’s a T-shirt company with designs that focus on his experience with illness, featuring shirts that say things like “CARETAKER.” He’ll soon start collaborating with others experiencing illness to offer them an outlet to tell their stories through fashion.

You can shop Stage4 Raiments on Etsy and follow Jason’s journey on Instagram @stage4raiments.
