For weeks, I drove by Churn Homemade Ice Cream and Coffee in Southside, briefly distracted by their neon-pink sign and windows advertising lattes and sundaes.
Recently, I finally went in to check it out. I ordered an ice cream float with salted caramel ice cream and vanilla cream soda and was pleasantly surprised when the waitress gave me the rest of the soda in the Red Ribbon bottle to take home with me.
The float was a refreshing treat after a busy day, and I’m sure I’ll be back again to try a sundae and coffee drink very soon.
