Yesterday, I floated into a new cafe

Bae Bae's Cafe

When you’ve worked Downtown for years and regularly forget to pack lunch (guilty), you probably get more than a little excited at new lunch spots popping up nearby. Enter Bae Bae’s Cafe, which recently opened on Liberty Avenue.

The place is an Instagram fiend’s dream, eclectically decorated with mismatched furniture, floating bookshelves and umbrellas clustered on the ceiling.

The cafe fare doesn’t disappoint, either – try the Thai iced tea with a chicken banh mi sandwich.

Although it’s only open until 3 p.m. on weekdays, I’ll definitely go back for tea or coffee breaks during the workday – as should you.
