PurpleStride Pittsburgh 2018

One of more than 50 PurpleStride 5K events across the country, this event raises money and awareness for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. It’s working, too. From 2008 to 2016, the organization’s events have raised $87 million. Far more importantly, the five-year survival rate for pancreatic cancer has increased by three points since 2014, now standing at 9 percent and hopefully getting higher.
