More than one contributor here has boasted about the Strip District’s Kingfly Spirits since its February opening – for good reason. It’s a beautiful space, with something for everyone. Sipping on an old fashioned (or something fruitier) at Kingfly, it brings to mind the past, present and future of Pittsburgh spirits.
Alongside craft breweries, distilleries are experiencing a renaissance in western Pennsylvania, with the likes of Wigle Whiskey bringing national acclaim to our spirits scene and representing a tie to a proud tradition that stretches back to the Whiskey Rebellion. And new distilleries promise ingenious innovation.
