Warhol’s Youth Invasion: Social justice through art

Local teens are taking over The Andy Warhol Museum as part of the Youth Invasion program. Young artists will present unique takes on Warhol’s artwork and energize the museum on March 16, kicking off this year’s youth art exhibition.

The Warhol has a rich history of providing programs for teens, LGBTQ populations and young adults with special needs, making this year’s theme of “stay woke,” especially resonant.

The theme allows young artists from a variety of backgrounds to create work in response to current political and social issues. Regular museum admission provides entrance to the exhibit, through March 23.
