Your ugly sweater rocked the competition again this holiday season. It’s lovable, but it’s time to move on. What do you do with something so ugly you wouldn’t give it to anyone?
The Society for Contemporary Craft has an answer. January 19, from 6-8 p.m., seamstress Lauren Sims provides sweater surgery strategy, sewing savvy and sharp scissors to turn that ugly sweater into something useful.
While a small sweater stash will be provided, you’re encouraged to bring sweaters from home. Hint: those sweater sleeves make great leg warmers. No experience necessary. Sewing machines and hand-sewing needles provided.
