The tax man cometh: Late

As a proud dad, I enjoy confirming to friends that both of our daughters are “taxpaying citizens.” In other words, they are financially self-sufficient, independent of the First Bank of Dad.

That’s about as much as I know of taxes. Don’t ask me to explain why taxes are due this year on Tuesday, April 17. Apparently, it involves an obscure District of Columbia holiday.

I prefer to focus my April attentions on the blooming of the ‘Burgh, which despite late snows and big floods, is finally underway. Check out the great spring events and fun opportunities in this issue!
