Spring cleaning at work – both physical, mental

by

We spring clean our homes, so shouldn’t we also declutter at work to boost productivity? Here’s how:

• Spring clean your desk – Do you have old notes cluttering your desk? Remove anything taking up space and distracting you. Family photos, quotes and other motivational items can stay.
• Spring clean your email – Do you receive emails that you automatically delete? What about irrelevant alerts? Unsubscribe. There’s no reason to waste space in your inbox.
• Spring clean your mind – Are negative thoughts affecting your work? With the new season, take a moment to consider what’s causing you stress and how to change it.
